Define the project before choosing a solution
Blue Bear offers concrete services as part of its exterior property work. Tell Rick what area needs attention, how it is used and whether you are considering new work or a change to an existing surface. Share the address, approximate size and photos to discuss the available scope.
For homes, HOAs and multifamily properties, intended use matters. Describe vehicle or pedestrian access, neighboring surfaces and constraints. The exact type of concrete work, finish and construction approach must be confirmed; this page does not advertise every specialty as an available service.
Existing concrete: what to share
Describe cracking, uneven areas, standing water or other concerns and how long you have noticed them. Photos and measurements explain the inquiry but do not establish a cause or determine whether repair or replacement is appropriate. Ask what evaluation is needed.
What affects price?
Size, access, existing material removal, preparation, intended use, finish and agreed construction details can affect cost. Discuss disposal, adjacent surfaces and additional work. Ask for a written proposal with included work, exclusions and a change process. A price per square foot alone may not describe the complete project.
Access, scheduling and putting the area back into use
Identify parking, walking routes, deliveries and resident needs before agreeing to a schedule. Ask when access will be restricted, what temporary arrangements are needed and what conditions determine when the finished area can be used. Do not assume a generic timetable applies to people or vehicles.
Questions for the proposal
- What area and intended use does the scope cover?
- What preparation, removal and finish are included?
- Who confirms any required local or property approvals?
- How will access, cleanup and adjacent surfaces be handled?
- What care instructions and written terms apply?
Concrete questions
Can I ask about a driveway, patio or walkway?
Yes. Describe the intended use so Rick can confirm project fit and available scope. No specialty finish or structural application is assumed.
Can photos tell you whether concrete must be replaced?
Photos can start the discussion. A decision needs an assessment of actual conditions and intended use. The website cannot diagnose a crack or promise a repair outcome.
